Doable, Marilda.

Caboose: What material? I recommend stainless steel, 16ga, 3/8" ID. This would cost $30 in materials, for $50 overall.

Galvanized would cost $10 in materials

Mild would cost $12 (since I just strip the galvanization off the steel)

Stainless Steel
Pros: Care free maille. It will likely never throw a ring and needs only minimal care and maintenance through its life.
Cons: Cost

Galvanized
Pros: Cost
Cons: You get what you pay for. Repairs will be necessary through it's life. It will look like crap in a few months without impeccable maintenance.

Mild:
Pros: Historical Look, Cost, Looks good indefinitely with maintenance
Cons: Steel strength is comparable to Galvanized, rings will get thrown necessitating repairs. Requires undergarment due to oiling.

it is cheaper to simply make rings correct.... i am looking at a skirt idea cuz i like the look , want to discourage nut shots by spears, and even if i upgrade armor it wouldnt be that

I... uh.... Yes, simply making the rings does cost less. However, no matter how well I close the rings the closures will scratch (important consideration) due to the crappy-ness of snips.

Discouraging single hand shots and encouraging double hand shots to the nuts...Goblin strategy at its finest.

One more open slot then I can do things like acquire currency, make and order rings and begin mailling. The faster this gets done by everyone involved (including those considering) the faster everyone gets their stuff.
