Garb. It's a Rule!
As a matter of fact it's the first (point three) one!
quote: 1.3 - All participants must wear a costume ("garb") that meets or preferably exceeds minimum Dagorhir requirements:
1.3.1 - A tunic or "medieval period" style shirt, dress, or vest of crotch length or longer. This requirement may be waived only if the rest of the costume (pants, boots, etc.) is of exceptional quality and appearance.
1.3.2 - Medieval-style (baggy) pants, kilt, skirt, etc.
1.3.3 - Medieval-style footwear (moccasins, boots that are not blatantly non-medieval in style, earth-tone shoes with leggings, etc.).
1.4 - Forbidden Garments, Patterns/Logos, and Equipment - the intent of this rule is to maintain an appearance appropriate to a fantasy/medieval setting at Dagorhir events, and to ensure that players are not carrying real weapons onto the battlefield.
1.4.1 - Forbidden garments include but are not limited to: blue jeans, white shoes, camoflage patterns such as military fatigues, visible T-shirts or other obviously modern clothing, and modern hats.
As a unit, Plenty of us follow this rule while plenty of us also don't and it's never too late to either increase one's wardrobe or start it because let's face it, you can't wear a cut up bedsheet forever.
In this thread on the Dagorhir National boards are dozens of suggestions for a lot of cheap (we are talking under 20 dollars cheap) good looking alternatives to wearing a tshirt.

If anyone needs help there are plenty of eager and willing unit members who love garb and would be more than willing to take a few hours to help you get a starting or multiple starting kits ready. Remember! You aren't going to be allowed to fight at Ides if you look like some Jabron from off the street, so start now.
If Eryndor is all about good sportsmanship, then having good garb is part of that sportsmanship.
So, let's start off 2011 right and get the unit into (multiple) passing outfits and start looking good. (especially you Reggie)

And tusked like the great cave bear;
And you, my sweet, from head to feet
Were gowned in your glorious hair.
