We're going to cover what drill is, what to expect from drill and what drill expects from you, what topics we want to cover this semester, etc. There may be some combat, but more then likely we're going to chill, run a pick up battle, then get taco bell (as per norm for this type of meeting).
Depending on how many newbs show up we may spend a decent amount of time talking about Eryndor and our place in it. The setting, old news, recent events, whatevs.

Hey everyone, in case you are unfamiliar with the jamestown complex XX09 is located on the isabella rd Jamestown complex, go to the back of the complex and look for the green light and or crowd of people around it. i know this goes without saying but just to be sure, it would be greatly appreciated if everyone helped to clean up and try to keep all the little bits of foam that are sure to be flying in a group so we can pick everything up at the end. That aside, Azhara and I are looking forward to welcoming you all to our home, lets have a good time, keep up the mutual respect that i know everyone has for one another and you are all welcome to our place anytime. see you all soon.

Drill this upcoming week will be our semester-annual Teamwork Drill. We'll be doing teamwork games, promoting working together, learning each others names, and gladitorial combat. Finch back gym, 8:30 PM.
You will need weapons and the like, Dag teamwork still involves killing the other guys.

Upcoming drill is going to focus on small and medium sized group tactics. We'll be talking and practicing working in groups ranging from two to ten people. If we get enough people out we'll also talk about line fighting.

Drill this week will be about running an event (from heralding and weapons checking to running troll) and field etiquette. We may also work on something special for the event, time depending.
Also, drill is back at 9 PM since the ROTC guys have decided to stop letting out early and it's their gym until then.

Drill for 10/21/09

Drill this week will be about blue weapons. We'll be talking all the different types of blue weapons, their advantages and disadvantages, tactics and methods, etc.
This starts the series of drills on specific weapons and weapon combos that will carry us for the rest of the semester or so. I wanted to start with grappling, but we'll work that in somewhere later this semester.
Remember that drill is at 9 PM in the back gym at Finch. The ROTC guys haven't been there in a while, but I don't really don't feel like dealing with their bullshit.
