I have a lab meeting Friday the 23rd at 9:30 am. I'm not sure yet if I even want to ask to get out of this, as I'm new to the lab and it's a place I potentially want to do my phd research, so making a good impression is pretty important. Also I have class Thursday that doesn't get out till 4 pm. Who is looking at going, and when were you planning on leaving? The earliest I could leave on Friday is at 11 am, but the meeting could potentially go long so ???
