Random Notes for Writing

This thread is just for some notes to help those writing, mostly dealing with the current position of the fury in eryndor at large, where we've been, where we came from, and where you fit in.

First things first, if you don't know something about Eryndor, check the wiki. It will help.

If the wiki doesn't help you, ask. Both Eldgrim and myself have spent time with the Eryndor storyline learning up. If we can't help you, we more then likely know people who can. Past that, here are some bulleted notes:

- The Fury formed, in storyline a year ago. We just joined the crusades, so we have a year of travelling before we catch up to the storyline proper. This means if you want your story to line up with the unit before we join the crusades, there is pleny of time for it to have happened. We started in Hithka and worked our way North, traveling both east and west trying to find the crusades as they were moving. There's no set path for the sake of people having more freedom in setting their location as they joined us.

- The Fury, for the most part, camps in Yurts. If you don't want to camp in a Yurt, that's fine, but they are baller and almost all of the fiction written about The Fury besides backstory (and some backstory) involves us camping in Yurts, so a Fury camp would have more Yurts then tents, more then likely.

- The full name of the unit is The Fury of the Called, and while this can be shortened to just The Fury, it is important to establish which Fury you are talking about since there are multiple (The Fury of the Far North, a eryndor unit from Midland, and The Furyans (based out of Houston, Texas, not a part of Eryndor)

- The five unit founders are Brinya, Brecken, Fenris, Annominate, and myself. The story of how they met and started the unit is the backstory of the unit. It's on the website and in the website backup thread of the artsy stuff forum.

- There are multiple smaller groups within the unit. These groups serve no purpose besides storyline flair and having something besides black and blue to base your garb off of, and are (i believe) for the most part unknown outside the unit. It's not a big secret, it's just something that most people don't bother with (in and out of the unit). Currently the unit has The Tarn Vikings, the Veris Squad, the Thorin Brothers, ?The Chef's Guild? (haven't really heard anything about this yet, but I know it's out there) and possibly some others that I am forgetting. Ask around and someone will know who to talk to about the different groups. Express some interest in being recruited by one of these groups if you are interested.

Anyone else who has some notes to add feel free.

I'm only speaking for myself when saying this, but I'm pretty sure the Chef's Guild is dead.

I think it had something to do with that "helmet" question.
